Exciting Developments at Coach Moe Athletics: A New Chapter Begins

Introduction

Greetings, everyone! Bryon here from Coach Moe Athletics. I’m reaching out to share some significant news about Coach Moe, who is undergoing knee surgery today. While some of you may already know, I want to take this opportunity to update you on our current endeavors, our nonprofit initiatives, and our exciting plans for Black Friday this year.

The Nonprofit Journey

For those actively following Coach Moe Athletics on our YouTube channel, you might be aware that we have embarked on a journey to establish a nonprofit. We are thrilled to announce our partnership with the Youth of America Charities Foundation in Bellevue. This incredible organization offers support to non-traditional students by teaching them essential skills, including construction, which helps them contribute at home and prepares them for future employment opportunities.

As Coach Moe Athletics commits to this path, we are expanding our focus to incorporate a segment of athletic programs under this nonprofit model. Our initial phase involves the basketball program, which will transition into a nonprofit structure. The decision stems from the competitive landscape of the city's basketball model and our reliance on training revenue and charitable donations to sustain our operations.

Vision for an Inclusive Basketball Academy

Our ultimate goal is to establish a basketball academy under the nonprofit umbrella. By structuring it this way, we hope to provide tax-deductible opportunities for donations, enabling us to better support the kids and families who are unable to afford our services. We’ve consistently borne the costs of providing services to these children, including tournament fees and equipment, personally. Adopting a nonprofit model will alleviate some financial burdens and expand the reach of our program.

We're inspired by a European-style basketball academy with a focus on development first and team second. Prioritization of skill development over physical attributes ensures all players receive well-rounded training, and we strive to offer similar opportunities in other sports like soccer, volleyball, and baseball.

Expanding Our Reach and Facility Needs

Currently, thanks to your amazing support, we’ve experienced rapid growth and have outgrown our current facility. If you have trained with us, you’re aware of the challenges our space poses on academy nights, especially with parking constraints. Coupled with the fact that our current building is being sold, the need for a bigger location is pressing.

Call to Action for Support

In the spirit of Black Friday, we’re offering significant discounts on services that can help us fulfill our current commitments while preparing for a new facility. Alternatively, we have a donation page if you’re inclined to make a tax-deductible contribution. Please earmark your donation for the Coach Moe Athletics program with Youth of America Charity Foundation to ensure it supports our athletic endeavors.

Your support is crucial as it assists us in moving towards a comprehensive all-inclusive center that combines Tony’s trade skills program, athletic pursuits, and an evolving mental health component aimed at serving the youth and families in the Bellevue area.

Conclusion

Our vision is clear, and with your help, we can secure a new building and eventually establish a permanent facility that becomes the heart of our operations. Whether you opt to partake in our Black Friday offerings or contribute a donation, every bit helps us close the current chapter and move forward towards the future.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. We appreciate your time and support.

Peace and blessings,

Bryon
